Clinton Barnum Seeley, 1896

Captain George Chapman raided the high-society stag of P.T. Barnum 's nephew after his precinct received a tip that Little Egypt would be performing naked. Those involved denied anything untoward occurred and cried police misconduct. Chapman was put on trial, and the public was shocked as party details emerged, including the groping of young women, exposing of genitals, and presence of syringes. Chapman was exonerated; Little Egypt became a burlesque legend.

Jimmy Stewart, 1949

Jimmy Stewart held his bachelor party at legendary Hollywood hangout Chasen's. The highlight of this partly televised affair was two midgets, dressed only in diapers, popping out of a silver serving-dish. Now that's class!

Thomas Bruderman, 2003

The bachelor bacchanal for this Fidelity Investments' trader incorporated a dwarf, a private jet and yacht, two prostitutes, several suites at South Beach's Delano Hotel , and cost in excess of $100,000. Two years after Bruderman's last hurrah, the SEC launched an investigation of the party. Their beef: it appears that corporate bigwigs who do business with Fidelity, including father-of-the-bride/defamed Tyco chief Dennis Kozlowski , paid for all or part of the extravagant bash. According to the Daily News, Kozlowski explained, “It wasn't like a three-ring circus. It was a nice party. There was only one dwarf.”

Sean Sullivan, 2004

Their comeback was cemented with a very public walk down the aisle, but former Newlyweds Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey hit a snag after tabloids claimed that Nick was getting a little grabby with porn star Jessica Jaymes, who was performing at Sullivan's bachelor party in the Hollywood Hills. While all concerned denied that anything untoward occurred at the time, the pop pair split two years later.

Mario Lopez, 2004

The actor best known for his portrayal of Slater on Saved By the Bell allegedly cheated on his bride-to-be, former Miss Teen USA Ali Landry, at his bachelor party in Acapulco. The C-List couple went on with their nuptials and allowed Oprah Winfrey's crew to film the whole thing for a never-to-be-aired segment. Two weeks later, Landry filed for an annulment.

Paris Lastis, 2005

Instant replay: Paris Hilton dumped her fiancé Paris Lastis after learning that the Greek shipping-heir cheated on her at his bachelor party. In a televised interview with Extra, she advised all grooms-to-be, “Don't cheat on her at your bachelor party. It's gross what you guys do at those parties...Whoever I marry is not going to have a bachelor party.”
